Garry Monk is urging Birmingham City to snap up duo of free transfers
Birmingham City sit just outside of the play-off spots in the Championship and with plenty of football still to be played their transfer plans could go one way or the other, however Garry Monk is targeting a couple of free transfer deals.
Scottish Premier League Hearts could lose both Steven Naismith and Arnaud Djoum on free transfers this summer and Birmingham City are targeting the pair once their contracts run down.
The Daily Record report that Garry Monk was present in watching the both at a recent victory over Kilmarnock and would welcome the opportunity to sign the experienced duo.
Steven Naismith, 32, is currently on-loan at Hearts from Championship side Norwich, having played for Rangers and Everton, while Arnaud Djoum, 29, has around 100 appearances for the Tynecastle side.
