With less than a month to go until clubs can revamp their squads in the January transfer window, clubs such as Fulham, West Ham and Crystal Palace are expected to be active in fending off a long-winded relegation battle.

Argentina striker Emiliano Sala at French Ligue 1 side Nantes is the player grabbing the trios attention, according to the Mirror.

Emiliano Sala has been in impressive form in France, netting 11 league in 14 league outings so far and with goalscorers hard to come by in Europe, the Premier League clubs are seemingly keen to add Sala to their ranks.

The stats for Sala sound even more impressive when the next two higher goal scorers in Ligue 1 are both from PSG – Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

The 28-year old striker, say the Mirror, will be valued at around £15 million by Fulham, West Ham and Crystal Palace, but of course Nantes will know that they can bump up the price if they want to as it’s the January transfer window – a time when clubs usually rush to fix issues or cover injuries and subsequently transfer fees are at a premium.

Fulham, if they are genuinely interested, may have the advantage though with boss Claudio Ranieri managing Emiliano Sala last season when he was in-charge of Nantes.
