French star wants Liverpool or Man Utd move after rejecting €60m Newcastle offer
Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare reportedly spurned the chance to join Newcastle in the January transfer window, in what is said to have been a ‘large’ offer from the Premier League club – according to Le10sport.
Newcastle, say Lille, agreed to a transfer fee €60 million to sign the highly-rated 20-year-old midfielder, but it was Boubakary Soumare himself that rejected the move.
Boubakary Soumare apparently favoures waiting until the summer hoping that the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool move on their own interest in signing the Frenchman.
The report clarifies that neither Man Utd or Liverpool have yet moved to try and sign Soumare, but that could change come the summer.
