Former Champions League winners agree major deal with West Ham

West Ham are cleaning house on deadline day with Jack Wilshire’s contract terminated and now the latest report claims Felipe Anderson will depart to Portugese giants and former Champions League winners Porto.

West Ham and Porto had wanted a permanent transfer but the clubs failed to reach an agreeable fee in time for the move to go through, so for now a loan deal is done – according to Football Insider.

The season-long deal will free up £140,000-a-week in wages, with the 27-year-old Brazilian not in David Moyes’ first team plans.

West Ham’s recent performances have been impressive and the departure of Anderson won’t be received badly by Hammers fans, with players such as Jarrod Bown and Tomáš Souček stepping up.
