Everton target Spanish international goalkeeper in last-ditch transfer swoop
The Premier League table-toppers Everton have seemingly targeted a new goalkeeper before Monday’s transfer deadline, reacting on some error-strewn performances by Jordan Pickford.
Roma’s Pau Lopez is reportedly the stopper Carlo Ancelotti wants through the doors – according to the Daily Star.
The Spanish international was at Tottenham a few seasons back, and has since gone on to become first-choice at Italian giants Roma.
Quizzed on whether new signing would arrive today, the Everton boss teased;
“You will see, you will see. Maybe something can come. Some new signings are coming.”
