Dortmund force Chelsea into ‘hard January decision’ on unhappy star
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is having to wrestle with a hard decision on whether to let Hakim Ziyech leave when the window opens in January, with the former Ajax-man reportedly unhappy.
A report in the Mirror claims that Borussia Dortmund have expressed an interest in bringing the 28-year-old Moroccan winger to the Bundesliga in the new year, with a promise of a first team place.
Hakim Ziyech has shown glimpses of brilliance at the Blues, but with just 8 goals in 49 appearances, patience could be wearing thin on both sides.
Dortmund would initially want a loan deal from January to the end of the season, but Chelsea wouldn’t want their £33million outlay to go without being recouped, and potentially profited on.
