David Moyes to push West Ham to sign French striker who’s available again
David Moyes has reportedly set his and West Ham’s sights firmly on signing Odsonne Edouard from Celtic this summer, with the player’s move to Leicester ‘collapsing’.
RB Salzburg’s Patson Daka is now Leicester’s favoured attacking transfer target, leaving the door open for a club such as West Ham to swoop for Edouard – according to Football Insider.
With Europa League football coming to east London this upcoming season, West Ham will need more attacking depth and the 23-year-old Frenchman certainly fits the bill.
Edouard is out of contract in Glasgow in the summer of 2022 and it seems to be a matter of time before Celtic find the right buyer.
