Jeremy Arévalo Reported to Be Joining Estrela Amadora on Loan from VfB Stuttgart

Jeremy Arévalo is reported to be joining Estrela Amadora from VfB Stuttgart on a season-long loan. The deal is not expected to include a purchase option, a detail that leaves Stuttgart in control of his longer-term pathway while giving Arévalo a fresh senior opportunity.

• Jeremy Arévalo is expected to join Estrela Amadora on loan from VfB Stuttgart.
• The move is set to be a one-year loan and will not include a purchase option.
• Arévalo remains under contract with Stuttgart until 2031.

Jeremy Arévalo’s Move to Estrela Amadora

Jeremy Arévalo is set for a switch to Estrela Amadora in Portugal’s Primeira Liga, with Stuttgart remaining his parent club if the move goes through as planned. An agreement appears to be in place, though it has yet to be officially confirmed.

The move would give Arévalo the chance to test himself in a different league before Stuttgart makes a long-term decision on his future.

What the Loan Could Mean for Arévalo

Arévalo heads to Portugal with some senior experience already under his belt, even if his Stuttgart minutes have been limited. He has made seven Bundesliga appearances in 2025/26, totalling just 38 minutes, which helps explain why a loan move is the logical next step at this stage of his career.

His most productive recent numbers have come elsewhere. Arévalo scored eight goals in La Liga 2 and added five more in the 3. Liga, showing a return that suggests his game will continue to grow with regular first-team exposure.

Recent involvement with Ecuador also strengthens his profile. Arévalo has featured for his national side, including appearances at the 2026 World Cup, so a season in Portugal is less a step away from senior football and more a chance to build on it.

That longer view matters for both parties. With Arévalo aged 21 and under contract with Stuttgart until 2031, the German club retains time and flexibility regarding his next step.
