João Palhinha has gone back to Munich after leaving the Portuguese national team because of an adductor injury. This is really bad timing as Bayern Munich is already dealing with lots of players being out, which makes Palhinha being gone even worse. He’s been really good especially in Champions League games and not having him around could really hurt the team.

Ever since he came to Bayern Munich in summer 2024, João Palhinha has become super important in midfield. He didn’t play much at first but when Pavlović got hurt he got his chance. He’s done really well in both Bundesliga and Champions League games helping keep the other teams from scoring and making the midfield more solid.

Injury Challenges in Football
Palhinha getting hurt is just like what’s happening at other big clubs. Like Robert Lewandowski who can’t play for Barcelona or Poland cause his back’s messed up. And Arsenal is having trouble too with Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice being hurt. It’s really showing how hard it is for teams to keep playing good when their players keep getting injured.
