His way of playing kind of looks like what Pep Guardiola does with lots of keeping the ball. Alonso is really good at helping young players get better too which shows how good he is as a manager. When he said he was leaving in May 2025 it was like the end of something really special for both him and the club.

Everyone in football is talking about how Xabi Alonso is gonna be in charge at Real Madrid. It kind of makes sense cause he used to play there and knows the place really well. He wants to bring some people from Leverkusen with him so he can keep doing things his way. Since he knows all about Real Madrid and what they expect, people think he’ll do good at one of the biggest clubs ever.
