Bayer Leverkusen is sticking to their €15 million price for Granit Xhaka while Neom SC and some Serie A clubs are interested. The Swiss midfielder has supposedly agreed on terms with Neom SC and AC Milan and Juventus are also watching what’s going on but they want to pay less money.

Granit Xhaka’s Career and Current Situation
Granit Xhaka who’s 32 now plays for Bayer Leverkusen. He’s played at FC Basel, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Arsenal and everyone knows him as this really good leader in midfield. Right now there’s all this talk about him maybe going to Neom SC in Saudi Pro League but Bayer Leverkusen really wants that €15 million. Some people think that’s way too much but the club won’t budge. If he goes there he’ll get like €10 million every year which shows how much money these Saudi teams got for older players.

Saudi Pro League’s Growing Influence
The Saudi Pro League is getting real big nowadays with teams like Neom SC throwing lots of money at good players. You can see how good it’s getting with teams like Al-Qadsiah doing really well and Al Ahli winning stuff. Like if you look at how good Al-Qadsiah is doing and Al Ahli getting to the AFC Champions League final, it’s pretty obvious. That’s why lots of players who are getting older think it’s a good place to go now.
Interest from Serie A Clubs
It’s not just Saudi teams that want Xhaka though, some Italian teams are interested too. AC Milan and Juventus are looking at getting him but they want to pay less money. People still think Xhaka’s really good in European football but that €15 million might be too much for these teams and they might have to look at other players instead. It just shows how hard it is for teams nowadays trying to balance getting good experienced players while not spending too much money.
This whole thing with Xhaka really shows how complicated football transfers are now with teams from all over trying to get what they want in this really tough market.
