São Paulo FC is asking for tougher penalties against referee Ramon Abatti Abel after a controversial match with Palmeiras. São Paulo FC has straight up asked the CBF to give Abel a bigger punishment which shows the ongoing problems in Brazilian football competitions. The club’s complaints point to bigger issues with referee standards where controversial calls always lead to lots of arguments and discussions.
