Argentine midfielder Juan Sforza has moved from Vasco da Gama to Juventude on loan until the end of 2025. The deal, which doesn’t include a buying option shows both clubs want a temporary fix. Sforza, who’s good at defensive stuff, hasn’t played much at Vasco, only getting into five games in the 2025 season and starting just one time. He’s looking to play more minutes at Juventude who need to make their team stronger during their tough Brasileirão season.

Juventude’s Expectations with Sforza
Juventude is fighting to not get relegated in Brazilian Serie A right now, so getting Sforza comes at a good time. The team thinks his addition in midfield will help them play better and win more games. Everyone wants to see what Sforza can do for Juventude, especially in their next big game against Atletico MG which might have lots of goals since both teams aren’t great at defending.

Sforza’s Background and Career
Born on February 14 2002 in Argentina Juan Sforza did really good in youth games winning South American U-15 and U-17 titles. But at Vasco he didn’t play much because other players were picked instead and he had some injuries. He played 44 games total for Vasco scoring one goal and getting one assist. He was also picked for Argentina’s Pre-Olympic team in 2024 but nobody knows if he actually played in it.
Transfer Market Dynamics
Juan Sforza going to Juventude is just one of the things happening in transfers right now. Here’s what else is going on:
- Manchester United: Extending Erik ten Hag’s contract and potentially appointing Ruud van Nistelrooy as a coach.
- Chelsea: Set to sign Marc Guiu from FC Barcelona by triggering his €6 million release clause.
- Everton: Finalizing a €20 million deal for Senegalese forward Iliman Ndiaye from Olympique de Marseille.
These clubs moves and money decisions show how active and changing the football transfer market is.
