Liverpool and Barcelona’s hopes of signing Wolves’ attacking winger Adama Traore have taken a blow with the news that the Spanish international is all-but set to pen a new contract – according to BBC Football.

The 24-year-old Wolves favourite will reportedly sign a new contract worth £100,000-a-week and it’ll be a long-term deal.

Signed from Middlesbrough in 2018, Traore has become known for his power and pace and recently made his full international debut for Spain.

Even if Barcelona or Liverpool attempt to come back in for Traore next summer, Wolves will be able to demand a lot more in regard to a transfer fee if their star-man is tied to a lucrative long-term contract.
