Big Sam wants reunion with in-form winger at West Brom this month
West Bromwich Albion manager Sam Allardyce wants to bring in some of his own players this month and has targeted a free transfer deal.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, ‘Big Sam’ will look to sign Middlesbrough’s in-form winger Duncan Watmore, who is on a short term contract until mid-January.
Watmore was at Sunderland with Allardyce and has impressed during his short stint at Boro, scoring five in eight from the wing for the Championship side.
His contract runs until January 17th and while Middlesbrough have offered an extension, the emergence of Premier League West Brom as a suitor could see the 26-year-old complete an impressive comeback this season.
