Barcelona and Real Madrid deal major blow to Man Utd as they also want £60m midfielder

Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona have dealt an early blow to Manchester United’s summer transfer plans, with news in the Sun revealing that the two giants also want to sign Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish.

The midfielder’s fine form this season has proven to visiting scouts that he really is ready to make the jump to a ‘top club’ and could further prove that if called up to the England squad for this summer’s Euro 2020 tournament.

Champions League football could be key in all of this, with the two Spanish clubs all-but guaranteed to be there next season, but Manchester United are playing catch-up in the Premier League and are struggling for goals.

Aston Villa will almost certainly have to sell in the summer and will look for a fee in the region of £60 million and upwards, regardless if they are stay up or relegated.
