Aston Villa ready to splash £40m on ‘unwanted’ PL striker
Aston Villa are keen to splurge a cool £40million on a Premier League and England goalscorer who has reportedly been told he has no future at his current club.
The Mirror reports that Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is wanted back at Aston Villa, with the now 23-year-old having played a crucial part of the club’s successful promotion campaign.
Chelsea, despite not viewing Abraham as part of their plans, aren’t keen to sell for a cheap and will push a club such as Villa to offer around £40m.
Aston Villa could be rivalled by Crystal Palace and West Ham in a bid to sign Abraham.
