Gustavo Quinteros going to start a new chapter since he decided not to stay with Velez Sarsfield. The Argentine-Bolivian manager is talking with Brazilian club Gremio right now and it’s looking pretty serious which is going to shake things up in South American football. Now that Quinteros is leaving Velez Sarsfield where he did really good, both him and the club got new chances ahead of them.

Gustavo Quinteros who’s been around South American football forever has made up his mind to leave Velez Sarsfield. André Hernan was the first one to say something about it saying Quinteros wants to try something different. While he was in charge Velez Sarsfield won the Torneo de la Liga Profesional and now there’s going to be a big hole to fill in the Argentine Primera División.

New Opportunities with Gremio
Word is Quinteros is pretty much ready to join Gremio which is like a really big deal in Brazil. It’s going to be something different for him even though he’s already managed teams like Bolivia and Ecuador before. Gremio is always trying to win stuff in Brazil so Quinteros could do some cool things there.

The way Quinteros is moving around shows how crazy football management can be in South America. Velez Sarsfield’s got to find someone new now to keep winning games. At the same time other teams like Red Bull Bragantino are making moves to get better players.
