Esteban Rolón whose pretty good at defensive midfield, looks like he’s gonna join Sarmiento (J) since they need someone to replace Gastón González who got hurt. Since he left Boca Juniors Rolón hasn’t been with any team which works out good for Sarmiento who needs help in midfield. He’s played over in Europe with Málaga CF and was loaned to Genoa CFC too. If they get Rolón, it’ll probably help make Sarmiento’s midfield better cause he knows what he’s doing and is good at defense.

Rolón’s Career and Departure from Boca Juniors
When Rolón left Boca Juniors it was part of coach Miguel Ángel Russo cleaning house with the team. Even though he didn’t start much Rolón still helped the team out when he played. When they didn’t put him on the Club World Cup team you could tell things was changing at Boca. They was trying to switch things up and wanted players who fit what the coach wanted to do. Now that Rolón’s available its perfect timing for Sarmiento since González got hurt.
Impact of González’s Injury on Sarmiento
Gastón González who can play lots of positions and is good at attacking has been real important for Sarmiento (J). Now that he’s hurt its a big problem and they gotta find someone good to replace him quick. Without González the team can’t attack like they used to so they gotta change how they play. Going after Rolón shows Sarmiento is trying hard to fix things after González got hurt. If they can get Rolón signed Sarmiento might be able to keep playing good even with González out.
