River Plate is going through some big changes in how they play, with a really good attack but they’re having trouble at the back. These changes are happening while they’re getting ready for the Copa Libertadores and some of the main players are trying to fix these problems.
- River Plate’s attack is getting more aggressive but their defense isn’t doing so good.
- The other teams had 4 goals taken away in recent games which shows how bad the defense is doing.
- Castaño is having a hard time being the only defensive midfielder and people want Portillo to play too.
Galoppo and Driussi: Key Solutions
River Plate’s people in charge are working on fixing the team’s recent problems and Giuliano Galoppo and Sebastián Driussi could really help turn things around. Galoppo who they borrowed from São Paulo has been really good for River’s attack, scoring once and helping score 4 more times in the Torneo Betano. Driussi who they got back from Austin FC for €10 million should make River score even more goals.

Galoppo es un volante con gol y tiene que aprovecharlo. Le sale fácil, lo siente.
Recupera a Driussi y su eficacia.
En defensa fue débil y le llegaron fácil. Le anularon cuatro goles rivales en sus últimos dos partidos.
Castaño no se siente cómodo de único 5.
Portillo debería tener alguna chance de volante.

Rising Star: Santino Andino
With all the experienced players there’s this young player Santino Andino who’s really catching everyone’s eye. Even though he’s only 19 Andino has done really well in big games showing what he can do in places like Brazil and the Monumental. The way he plays has really helped get the team going.
