Racing Club thinks this move would help them do better in the Argentine Primera División with Gustavo Costas who’s gonna stick around till December 2025. They think Zaracho’s skills could help them win more games in Argentina.
Zaracho’s Current Situation at Atlético Mineiro
Matías Zaracho’s been pretty important for Atlético Mineiro since he went there from Racing Club back in October 2020. He’s played 114 games in Brazil’s top league the Brasileirão and scored 14 goals, showing how good he is in midfield. Even though he’s doing good at Mineiro where they say he’s worth €8.00m, you can tell he’s thinking about going back to Argentina and Racing.
It’s not an easy choice for Zaracho cause he’s gotta think about what he wants at Mineiro versus going back to Racing where he first started playing pro football. Since he’s got another year on his contract, everyone’s gotta be careful about how they handle this.
Racing Club’s Ambitions in the Argentine Primera División
Racing Club wants Zaracho as part of their bigger plan to be the best in the Argentine Primera División again. With Gustavo Costas running things, they want to play better and more consistent. Getting Zaracho back wouldn’t just be nice for old times sake but it’d make the team stronger too.
The Argentine Primera División is super tough and Racing’s trying to make their team better could be really important. Everyone’s watching to see what happens with this transfer and what it means for Zaracho and Racing Club while they try to figure out all the complicated stuff with transfers.
