Pablo Guiñazú, the former Argentine footballer has resigned as the caretaker manager of Club Atlético Talleres after they lost badly to Instituto. His leaving shows how much the team has been struggling while he was in charge. Being the passionate guy he is Guiñazú was really upset saying “Me duele en el alma, pero no pude ayudar al equipo” (It hurts my soul but I couldn’t help the team).

  • Guiñazú quit after losing to Instituto.
  • Talleres did poorly in both Copa Libertadores and their local league.
  • Guiñazú had lots of problems while in charge.

Guiñazú’s Tenure at Talleres

Guiñazú really struggled in his first big job as manager at Club Atlético Talleres. Even though he tried really hard, the team couldn’t do well in the Argentine Primera División and ended up 12th in the Torneo Apertura. Talleres, worth about €47.45 million had both experienced players and young talents but they just couldn’t play consistently. Things got even worse in the Copa Libertadores where they barely got any points.

Challenges and Departure

When Guiñazú left you could tell he really cared about the team even though things didn’t work out. Now that he’s gone Talleres needs to start over and try to do better. The people running the club have got to find someone new who can get the team going again and point them in the right direction.

Future Prospects for Talleres

Now that Guiñazú’s gone, Talleres is at a really important point. They need to get better and move up in the league standings. Looking for a new manager is kind of like what happened with Al-Hilal when they fired Jorge Jesus because the team wasn’t doing good.
