Independent has got themselves a new keeper, Lucas Lavagnino who’s coming from River Plate’s reserve team. They worked out a deal for like 18 months on loan, and they’ve got this chance to buy half of Lavagnino’s rights if they want. It’s pretty much them trying to make their team better cause they’re having some rough times in the Argentine Primera División.

  • Lavagnino’s gonna be there for 18 months on loan
  • They can buy 50% of his rights if they want
  • It’s part of how they’re trying to make the team better

Independiente’s New Signing

So Independiente went and got Lucas Lavagnino which shows they really want to fix up their team. The kid’s been playing with River Plate’s reserves and they think he could really help sort out their defense. César Luis Merlo who’s like this football reporter guy, says it’s gonna be a 18-month loan deal and they might buy half his rights later on.

They really needed someone like Lavagnino right now cause Independiente isn’t doing so hot in the Argentine Primera División. They’ve been having a hard time especially against teams like Rosario Central so they definitely needed some new players.

About Lavagnino and What He Brings

Since Lavagnino’s been with River Plate he knows his stuff and could really help Independiente out. The team’s defense hasn’t been great lately so they’re hoping he’ll fix that up. It’s pretty normal in Argentine football nowadays teams are always trying to get new players to make their squads better.
