Fernando Antonio Álvarez Amador who is a young and versatile Colombian defender has joined Argentine club Lanús on a one-year loan from CF Montréal. Sports journalist César Luis Merlo told everyone about the deal on Twitter and said that Lanús can buy Álvarez when the loan is done.

Álvarez is 1.88 meters tall and mostly plays as a center-back but he can also play left-back which makes him really useful for his new team. He’s got citizenship in Colombia and the United States which is interesting for his international career since he switched from playing for Mexico to playing for Colombia’s youth teams.
