Miguel Ángel Russo, an experienced football manager who’s worked in Argentine and international football has been named the new head coach of Boca Juniors. This is gonna be his third time with the big club where he already won Copa Libertadores back in 2007. The club brought Russo back hoping he can help get the team winning again.

Since he’s already been at Boca Juniors before and won stuff like the 2007 Copa Libertadores, it kinda makes sense why they picked him again.

Challenges in the Argentine Primera División
The Argentine Primera División is super intense and Russo knows his way around these kind of challenges. Like just look at what happened with Pablo Guiñazú who had to quit as Talleres manager cause the team wasn’t doing good, that shows you how hard it is for managers here. And then you got Rosario Central who’s doing amazing in Zona B which shows how tough the competition is gonna be for Russo.
Boca Juniors: High Expectations and Ambitions
Boca Juniors is like this huge deal with tons of history and wins and fans who really really care about winning. The team they’ve got now is pretty good so everyone expects a lot from any new manager. Russo knows what he’s doing and that matches what Boca wants which is to win everything at home and internationally. Now that he’s taking over everyone’s gonna be watching to see what he does with this big chance at one of football’s most famous clubs.
