Belgrano is gonna bring back Santiago Longo after they reached a deal on personal terms. São Paulo is ready to talk about ending Longo’s loan which would help him come back to Argentina. This is kinda like what other Argentine clubs are doing to get better players with experience.

  • Belgrano and Santiago Longo agreed on his contract stuff.
  • São Paulo wants to talk about ending Longo’s loan.
  • Longo coming back is like what other Argentine clubs do to get experienced players back.

Belgrano’s Strategic Move

Belgrano wants to bring back Santiago Longo which is pretty important for making their team better. Longo’s been with Belgrano since 2014 and played like 132 games, scored 3 goals and helped with 2 more. Since he knows the club so good, he’d be real helpful for Belgrano as they get ready for more seasons in the Argentine Primera División.

São Paulo seems ok with letting Longo end his loan early so he can go back to Belgrano sooner than planned. It’s like what a lot of Argentine teams are doing nowadays they want their experienced players back to make things more stable and play better.

Impact on Argentine Football

Longo maybe coming back to Belgrano shows what’s happening in Argentine football right now. Teams are trying to get their experienced players back. Like how Lucas Zelarayán might come back to Belgrano too which would make the team stronger and more experienced.

Other teams like Estudiantes de La Plata are doing similar stuff. They gave Eduardo Domínguez a longer contract until December 2025 cause they want to do good in the Argentine Primera División for a long time.

Santiago Longo’s Career Path

Santiago Longo plays in midfield and is worth about €3.00 million. He started playing in Freyre Argentina and can be both Argentine and Italian. He went to São Paulo in September 2024 with a contract going till August 2025, but looks like he might come back earlier than that.

Belgrano really wants Longo back in their team cause he’s such a good player. The Argentine Primera División is always changing and teams like Belgrano are working hard to make their teams better.
