30-goal Manchester United transfer target given a £54m price tag
Manchester United have been given a clear price of £54million for one of their reported top transfer targets, RB Leipzig’s midfielder Christopher Nkunku – according to a report in the Express.
Christopher Nkunku, 24, has been impressive with his goal scoring prowess, scoring 30 in all competitions, with the Frenchman set to take centre stage in the upcoming Europa League semi-final against Rangers.
United boss Ralf Rangnick has close ties to former employer RB Leipzig and has been clear that the club should go after Nkunku this summer.
Leipzig, despite their successes, have been known in recent years as a selling club and turning a profit, so despite having a contract until 2024, it would seem that should United meet the asking price a deal could be done.
