West Brom ready club-record Odion Ighalo bid as Berahino replacement
West Bromwich Albion are reportedly ready to make a club-record £32 million offer to sign Watford striker Odion Ighalo as a replacement for exit-bound Saido Berahino.
The Mirror reported the Baggies have turned their attention to a deadline-day move for Ighalo as Berahino prepares for a move to Stoke City, who have shown consistent interest in signing the forward.
The Hornets stand to earn nearly 11 times the £3 million they forked out for Ighalo’s signature, but West Brom’s hopes may be dashed considering Watford rejected a £38 million approach from a Chinese club to sign the player.
