Revolutionary changes to transfer window set to be enforced in 2018/19
Multiple reports, including via talkSPORT, are stating that the Premier League will bring sweeping and somewhat revolutionary changes to the transfer window from the beginning of next season, with the window set to close before the first game of the season.
The issue will likely be discussed and moved forward for approval in September with all 20 Premier League clubs backing the motion to close the window two – three weeks earlier than this normal.
The vote would require two thirds of the clubs to vote for approval of this new law and with all 20 backing the changes it’s expected to be completed in time for next season.
