Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was keen to point out after the defeat to PSG that the club aspire in the market to get back to the top of the elite level in Europe, so big transfers are expected.

The Mirror report that Manchester United have four main transfer targets ahead of the summer window – with three of the names being defensive additions, which will leave questions over the future of the likes of Phil Jones and Eric Bailly.

Napoli’s powerful defender Kalidou Koulibaly, Atletico Madrid’s Lucas Hernandez, who can play at left-back, and Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic who can play on the right-side of defence.

United are said to have quoted around £90 million for the Senegalese international Kalidou Koulibaly, so that could very well be United’s big summer spend right there.

The other big name in the Mirror’s list of targets is Juventus’ Douglas Costa, the 28-year old hasn’t played 90 minutes in Serie A all season for the Italian champions and there’s plenty of talk around the future of the Brazilian winger.
