Manchester United look set to continue being active in this summer’s transfer window, and Portuguese news source O Jogo claims that Jose Mourinho’s side have made a £35 million offer for Brazilian midfielder Anderson Talisca, who currently plays for Besiktas in Turkey.

talkSPORT also cover this story today and reaffirm the transfer link to the 24-year old midfielder, who has yet to make a single appearance for his national side and won’t be at this summer’s World Cup – despite scoring 20 goals and assisting an additional eight while on a season long-loan from Portuguese giants Benfica.

Anderson Talisca may soon be a Manchester United player but O Jogo (in Portuguese) state that two unnamed clubs in the Chinese Super League are also keeping close tabs on the player who they think can be tempted by the riches of the Far East over potentially playing a role in Jose Mourinho’s midfield.

Benfica are keen to cash-in on a player who they must feel they can profit on now after two impressive seasons in Turkey (on-loan). However, Besiktas have a first option to buy clause in their contract so they may yet sign him and then sell him quickly for profit themselves – but that contract clause will expire on June 31st 2018, according to talkSPORT.

If Anderson Talisca arrives at Old Trafford it would be potentially the third signing of the summer, with Diogo Dalot arriving from FC Porto and another Brazilian midfielder Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk.
