Liverpool’s Mo Salah at the centre of near world-record €200m bid reports
Before reading on, it’s worth saying that is as outlandish a story in the current transfer market as there could possibly be (besides maybe a Lionel Messi ‘wants out’ story).
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah is being linked to a mammoth transfer away from Anfield, to big-spending Italian champions Juventus – say 90min via Sky News Arabia.
A bid of €200 million could be launched by Juventus, who have reportedly been given the ‘nod’ by their record-signing Cristiano Ronaldo to get Mohamed Salah in the summer and take the Turin club on to another level.
The story may have some foundation with transfer talk of Paulo Dybala being wanted by a host of big name clubs around Europe, and the funds that would be used to sell the Argentine would likely be enough to cover the majority of a possible (yet unlikely) Salah deal.
If Mohamed Salah were to move to Juventus for around €200 million it would still fall short of the world-record deal that took Neymar to Barcelona for around €222 million.
It’s only the second week of February and the big names are already being touted for big money moves – this summer’s transfer window could very well be one of the most hyped in recent seasons.
