Chelsea look to sign former Premier League winner in Batshuayi swap-like deal
Sources in Italy from Sky Italia are reporting that Edin Dzeko, former Manchester City and current Roma striker, is the latest player to be linked with a move to Chelsea this month.
The report suggests that Antonio Conte’s side may look to use 24-year-old Michy Batshuayi as makeweight with Roma to get this swap-like deal done – as the Blues desperately seek a targetman-like forward.
Andy Carroll from West Ham has been linked and as of last night, Stoke’s 36-year old striker Peter Crouch is also under consideration. Blues fans will certainly be wondering what’s going on at Stamford Bridge at the moment.
